Weather Situation
A cold front has crossed Tasmania and is now to the east, leaving a strong and gusty westerly airstream in its wake today. A second cold front embedded in the strong westerly flow is expected to cross during Monday, bringing a much colder airstream to the state. Another weaker cold front is then expected to cross during Wednesday, bringing a fresh southwesterly airstream to the state. A high pressure ridge will develop over Tasmania on Thursday, directing west to northwesterly flow across the state.
