West to southwesterly winds ease today and Wednesday as a high pressure centre slowly approaches the west from the Bight. The high is expected to move over the state Thursday, before moving away to the east, over the Tasman Sea, on Friday. It is forecast to remain slow moving in central parts of the Tasman Sea, maintaining a weak ridge over Tasmania, on Saturday.
