Weather Situation

A high pressure centre near Adelaide extends a ridge of high pressure over Tasmania. The ridge is expected to slowly cross over Tasmania during Thursday and Friday, bringing mostly settled weather to the state. The high is then forecast to move to the east of Tasmania later Friday as a cold front approaches from the west during Saturday, and crosses over the west later Sunday.
