Southwesterly 10 to 15 knots becoming variable about 10 knots in the late afternoon then becoming north to northwesterly 10 to 15 knots in the evening. Winds reaching up to 20 knots offshore in the late morning and again in the late evening.

1.5 to 2.5 metres, decreasing below 1.5 metres during the afternoon, then decreasing below 1 metre by early evening.

1st Swell

Southerly around 1 metre inshore, increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres offshore around midday.

A weak ridge is crossing over the state during today before a cold front arrives early Wednesday morning. A high is then forecast to move over the mainland directing a westerly flow over Tasmania on Thursday and persisting into Friday.
