Weather Situation

A west to northwesterly flow results over Tasmania in the wake of a cold front. A ridge of high pressure will move over the southeastern mainland on Thursday, directing a northwest to northerly flow over Tasmania as it moves into the Tasman Sea on Friday. Another cold front is forecast to cross Tasmania on Saturday. Another high pressure system then moves over the southeast of the mainland on Sunday returning to the flow northwesterly.
