Weather Situation

A high over western Victoria directs a westerly flow over Tasmania. Strong and gusty winds are forecast on Friday as a front passes well to the south of Tasmania. A weak ridge is forecast to extend over the state on Saturday, directing the flow northwesterly, before a cold front crosses the state on Sunday evening. The flow will turn southwesterly on Monday behind the front, as a high establishes over the Bight.
