Gusty northwesterly winds will develop across Tasmania this morning ahead of a significant cold front, expected to cross later in the afternoon and evening. A cold and gusty south to southwesterly stream is then expected to develop and persist through Friday, with a ridge to approach and move over Tasmania on Saturday and Sunday, bringing light winds and settled weather to the state.
