Weather Situation

A high pressure ridge is forecast to sit over Tasmania until at least early Sunday, bringing settled weather to the state. The ridge moves over the Tasman Sea later Sunday, as a moderate northeasterly airstream is expected to pick up. A weak trough is expected to approach the state from the west on Monday.
