A high pressure system lies well to the east of Tasmania, with a weak cold front forecast move to the south of the state today. A low pressure system over Victoria on Tuesday morning is expected to broaden and move south over Tasmania during the day, before moving away to the east on Wednesday morning. A high pressure system over South Australia is expected to extend a ridge over Tasmania later Wednesday, before moving to north of the state on Thursday. A cold front is expected to approach the southwest late Thursday, crossing during Friday.
