- A high pressure system over South Australia is maintaining a ridge over Tasmania. A warmer northwesterly airstream is then expected to develop today as the ridge gradually moves to the east and a cold front approaches from the west. The cold front is expected to move over Tasmania on Tuesday resulting in a return to cooler southerly flow. Another high pressure system approaches from the west on Wednesday and moves over Tasmania on Thursday.
