- A cold front has cleared east of the state this morning. A high pressure system is forecast to move over Tasmania from the west today before clearing over the Tasman Sea by Tuesday. A trough is forecast to extend over the northeast from the mainland on Tuesday, as a cold front clips the south of the state. Another high pressure ridge is expected to extend over Tasmania from the west on Wednesday, with the high centre forecast to move over the state on Thursday.
