Cloudy. Patchy morning fog. Slight chance of a shower. Light winds becoming northwest to southwesterly 15 to 20 km/h in the middle of the day then becoming light in the evening. Daytime maximum temperatures between 13 and 18.

Banks Strait and Franklin

Wind: Variable below 10 knots becoming west to southwesterly 15 to 20 knots in the early morning.

Seas: Below 0.5 metres, increasing to around 1 metre around midday.

1st Swell: Easterly around 1 metre, increasing to 1 to 2 metres about Banks Strait.

Weather: Partly cloudy.

Weather Situation: A narrow ridge moves over the state today. with a low pressure system expected to approach from the west and cross Tasmania over the weekend. This will bring a series of cold fronts on Saturday and Sunday, with a westerly flow persisting into Monday.
