Weather Situation
A high pressure centre sits in the southern Tasman Sea, extending a ridge over the State. The ridge will slowly weaken as a trough approaches from the west, nearing the west coast later Sunday. The trough is forecast to move over the State on Monday. The trough lingers to the northeast of Tasmania during Tuesday and Wednesday as another high pressure ridge builds to the south, directing an easterly airstream over Tasmania.
