- A cold and gusty west to southwesterly airstream flows across the state. A strong warm front will then cross Tasmania later today, bringing a much warmer westerly airstream to the state which will persist into Saturday. A weak ridge is then expected to cross later Saturday with the airstream expected to tend more northwesterly during Sunday and Monday as a low pressure centre and cold front slowly approach from the west.
