Weather Situation

A ridge of high pressure just to the south of Tasmania will force the low pressure system over the southeastern mainland to move east to be over the Tasman Sea on Saturday. A broad west to southwesterly flow will develop as the ridge pushes northwards across the state this weekend. A series of cold fronts embedded in this west to southwesterly flow is expected for the early part of next week.
