Weather Situation

A cool southwesterly stream over Tasmania will ease overnight, with a high pressure system to move to the north of the state. The high will extend a ridge over Tasmania on Wednesday morning, with the ridge to move to the east of the state by the evening. A strong cold front is expected to build south of the Bight during Thursday and cross Tasmania on Friday, with a cold southwesterly stream to slowly ease during Saturday as another high builds over the Bight.
