A high pressure system over the mainland is forecast to direct a westerly flow over Tasmania overnight and during Friday, with a weak cold front expected to brush the south of the state during Friday morning. The high will moves over Tasmania on Saturday and Sunday, then is expected to move to the east of the state during Monday.
