Wind: Southwesterly 10 to 15 knots turning westerly 15 to 20 knots during the morning.

Seas: Around 1 metre, increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres offshore during the afternoon.

1st Swell: Northeasterly below 1 metre.

Weather: Partly cloudy.

Weather Situation: A narrow ridge moves over the state today. with a low pressure system expected to approach from the west and cross Tasmania over the weekend. This will bring a series of cold fronts on Saturday and Sunday, with a westerly flow persisting into Monday.
