A ridge of high pressure over Tasmania moves into the Tasman Sea on Sunday, expected to direct a northerly flow over the state. A cold front is expected to approach the state from the west on Monday and become a slow-moving trough over the state into Tuesday, clearing to the east later. Another cold front is forecast to approach the west during Wednesday, crossing later.
