- Weather Situation
- AA high pressure system lies to the south of Tasmania until Thursday as a low pressure centre developing to the northeast of Tasmania today extends a trough over the state. The ridge will keep the low in place until early Thursday. Together, they will direct a moist easterly airstream over Tasmania until Thursday morning which will likely result in widespread rain across parts of eastern Tasmania. A cold front will then slowly approach from the west during Friday, crossing during Saturday and bringing cooler westerly winds to the state.
