A high pressure centre to the southeast maintains a northeasterly flow over Tasmania during Monday, with a trough approaching the northwest of the state, expected to cross over the state during Tuesday. A low pressure system located well to the southwest draws an associated cold front over the state later on Wednesday, to be followed by a prevailing westerly flow on Thursday.
