A westerly stream following the passage of a cold front overnight will persist throughout Tuesday with a high to build over the Bight and extend a ridge to the north of Tasmania. The high centre will slowly approach Tasmania on Wednesday, with the high expected to move over Tasmania on Thursday and slowly away to the east of the state during Friday.
