Weather Situation

A high pressure ridge extends over Tasmania from a high centred near the WA and SA coastal border. A weak cold front is expected to approach the state on Thursday, and cross Tasmania during early Friday, followed by another ridge extending over Bass Strait from a high centred well to the west. During Saturday the ridge is forecast to move broadly over the state as the high centre approaches the west coast and moves over Tasmania on Sunday.
