Weather Situation

A broad low pressure system south of Tasmania will clear to the southeast this morning before a second, more intense, low pressure system is forecast to move across Bass Strait this evening and clear to the east tomorrow morning. A ridge of high pressure is expected to extend across the southern mainland, forecast to direct a westerly flow over Tasmania from tomorrow. Cold fronts embedded in the flow are expected to cross Tasmania late tomorrow and again Wednesday.
