A warm northerly flow will persist over Tasmania overnight and during Saturday, as a high pressure system near New Zealand slowly moves eastwards. A low pressure system and associated cold front will approach from the west during Saturday, with the front to cross Tasmania on Sunday and early Monday. A narrow ridge is then expected to extend over western Tasmania during Tuesday.
