Weather Situation

A trough lingers about the southeast following the passage of a cold front yesterday. A ridge of high pressure will then slowly extend over the state from late today, as the high centre is forecast to approach the west coast on Saturday, move over Tasmania on Sunday and out to the east on Monday.
