Weather Situation

Northwesterly flow persists over the state as a broad trough is forecast to cross the state during the day Thursday, followed by a weak cold front in the evening. A ridge of high pressure is then expected to approach Tasmania from the west during Friday, concurrently with a trough deepening over Victoria. The trough is forecast to move near the east of Tasmania on Saturday, before moving away to the southeast on Sunday.
