Weather Situation

A trough lingers about the northeast, with a ridge maintaining a west to southwesterly flow over the rest of the state. The trough will move away to the east this evening, with a cold front and associated low pressure system expected to approach from the west tonight. The low is forecast to move over state on Monday, before a ridge of high pressure builds over Tasmania during Tuesday. Northwesterly flow will strengthen over the state on Wednesday ahead of another cold front forecast to cross the state on Thursday.
