A fresh west to southwesterly airstream persists over Tasmania, easing this morning as a ridge of high pressure extends down from Victoria. A cold front is forecast to cross the state on Saturday afternoon, before clearing to the east on Sunday with another ridge of high pressure expected to quickly follow. A low is forecast to move over central Victoria during Monday afternoon.
