Weather Situation

Northerly flow builds over Tasmania today ahead of an approaching trough, forecast to cross Wednesday morning. A broad trough is forecast to cross the state during the day Thursday and then a cold front in the evening. A ridge of high pressure is then expected to approach Tasmania from the west during Friday, concurrently with a trough deepening over Victoria. The trough is forecast to move to the east of Tasmania on Saturday.
