A low pressure system and associated trough lies to the northeast of Tasmania, directing a southeasterly flow over the state. The low is forecast to move away to the east from Sunday. A cold front will approach from the west on Monday, directing a west to northwesterly flow over Tasmania before crossing the state on Tuesday. A high pressure system will move in from the west on Wednesday.
