Weather Situation
A northwesterly airstream will maintain over Tasmania this evening as a cold front moves away to the east. Another stronger cold front approaches from the west and will cross the state tomorrow morning. A cold and gusty southwesterly airstream will then establish later Friday and prevail throughout Saturday. The airstream is expected to ease and tend south to southwesterly during Sunday as a high pressure centre approaches from the west. The high centre is expected to move over Tasmania later Sunday and remain in the vicinity during Monday, bringing settled weather to the state.
