Northerly flow is expected to build over Tasmania today ahead of an approaching trough, forecast to cross Wednesday morning. A broad trough is forecast to cross the state during Thursday as a cold front approaches from the west, crossing Friday evening. A ridge of high pressure is then expected to approach Tasmania from the west during Friday.
