- Weather Situation
- A high to the north of Tasmania is combining with a cold front passing to the south of Tasmania to direct a vigorous westerly flow over the state, with these conditions to continue overnight and early Saturday. A weak ridge is forecast to extend over Tasmania on Saturday afternoon and evening, ahead of another cold front to cross the state on Sunday evening. The flow will tend colder southwesterly on Monday morning, with a high to establish over the Bight. This high is expected to move to the north of Tasmania on Tuesday morning and lie to the northeast of the state by Tuesday evening.
