Weather Situation

A trough is crossing over Tasmania from the west today, expected to clear to the east by late evening. A high pressure ridge is forecast to develop just to the south of the state on Tuesday morning before extending over the state during the afternoon. A trough is forecast to linger by the east coast on Wednesday morning as the ridge remains over the rest of the state. A cold front approaches during Thursday, forecast to cross Tasmania during Friday, followed by another ridge of high pressure to extend over Bass Strait later.
