Weather Situation
A series of cold fronts will cross Tasmania today, as a low to the southwest of the state moves towards the Tasman Sea. The low will quickly move away to the southeast on Wednesday morning, with a high pressure system over mainland Australia to direct a westerly airstream over Tasmania during Wednesday. A northwesterly airstream is expected to develop on Thursday, with a cold front to cross Tasmania early on Friday and another front to cross the west of the state Friday evening.
