- A cold front passes to the south of Tasmania this evening, extending a trough over southeastern parts on Saturday morning. A ridge of high pressure briefly passes to the south on Saturday afternoon, before a broad trough is forecast to extend down over the state from the mainland on Sunday. The trough is expected to clear to the east on Monday, with another high pressure system forecast to move over the state by Tuesday.
