Weather Situation
A low pressure system and associated cold front is approaching Tasmania from the west, directing a northwesterly airstream over the state. This low is expected to cross Tasmania during today, directing the airstream more northerly. A west to southwesterly airstream is then expected in the wake of the low on Saturday evening. A series of weaker cold fronts embedded in the westerly flow are then forecast to cross the state in the following days.
