A cold southwesterly airstream will slowly weaken tonight and during Saturday as a high centre builds over the Bight. The high is expected to slowly approach Tasmania during Sunday and Monday, bringing mostly settled weather to the state. The high centre will then lie close to the south of the state by Monday evening before moving over the Tasman Sea on Tuesday.
