Weather Situation

A high pressure system over southern Victoria is forecast to move over the Tasman Sea by early Saturday and continue to slowly move east. A weak trough is expected to cross Tasmania late Sunday. A cold front is then expected to approach the state from the west on Monday, directing the flow northwesterly before crossing Tasmania overnight into early Tuesday. A southwesterly flow will establish over the state in its wake.
