Weather Situation

A high pressure centre moves over the Tasman Sea today, as a low pressure trough is expected to move through Bass Strait before lingering off the east coast on Sunday. On Monday a new ridge of high pressure will extend across from the northwest. The main high pressure centre will move eastwards on Tuesday but will continue to extend a ridge over Tasmania.
