A high to the east Tasmania will remain over the Southern Tasman Sea through Monday and Tuesday and extend a ridge over the state. A weak cold front is expected to approach Tasmania during Wednesday, then cross the state late Wednesday and early Thursday ahead of another high that will move over Tasmania on Thursday evening.
