Weather Situation

A very strong high pressure centre lies over Tasmania today and will persist tomorrow, with a weak trough to pass close to the southeast later tomorrow and early Wednesday. The high is expected to weaken a little but remain in place on Wednesday before slowly moving over the Tasman Sea on Thursday and Friday as a series of cold fronts slowly approach from the west.
