Weather Situation

A trough lingers about the northeast this evening, with a ridge maintaining a west to southwesterly flow over the rest of the state. The trough moves away to the east during Sunday, as a cold front and associated low pressure system are expected to approach from the west late. The low is forecast to move over state on Monday, before a ridge of high pressure is expected to develop over Tasmania during Tuesday. A northwesterly flow will strengthen on Wednesday ahead of another cold front forecast to cross the state late.
