Weather Situation

A low pressure centre passes close to the south of Tasmania this evening and directs a cool west to southwesterly airstream across the state that will persist into Monday. Later Monday, a large area of low pressure is expected to move over the Bight and approach Tasmania, extending a warm front over the state late Monday and early Tuesday. The low complex then moves over Tasmanian and remains in the vicinity throughout Wednesday before moving away to the east on Thursday.
