Weather Situation

A high pressure centre approaches Tasmania from the west today, extending a ridge over the south of the state this evening. The ridge then extends across the state tomorrow to a high centre to the east, remaining in place during Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and bringing mostly settled weather to the state. The eastern high is expected to become dominant on Saturday, with both the high and ridge moving slowly eastwards later in the day.
