Weather Situation

A high pressure system centred over the southeastern mainland directs a westerly flow over Tasmania, with a weak cold front forecast to clip the south of the state late today. A low pressure system is forecast to move over the southeastern mainland during Friday, which will direct a series of slow moving fronts and a broad easterly flow over Tasmania. A ridge of high pressure is then expected to develop over the state during Saturday.
