Weather Situation

A high pressure system over the mainland directs a west to northwesterly flow over Tasmania. The flow tends northerly early in the week as the high pressure system moves into the Tasman Sea and a cold front approaches from the west. The front is expected to move over Tasmania mid week followed by a ridge of high pressure.
