Weather Situation

A trough clears the northeast of Tasmania this evening, as weak ridge moves to the south, persisting during Friday. A broad area of low pressure is forecast to approach from the west late Friday, moving over the state on Saturday. A second, more intense, low pressure system is then forecast to move over eastern Tasmania late Sunday. The low is expected to clear to the east during Monday morning, with a westerly flow to develop behind it.
