A high pressure ridge to the east of Tasmania, shifts further east during Sunday. A trough crosses over Tasmania Monday morning followed by a high moving by just to Tasmania's south during the day. On Tuesday, the high maintains a ridge over the state as it moves away to the east, and a relaxed pressure pattern develops about Tasmania on Wednesday. A low forms over the northwestern Bight Thursday morning. It deepens and quickly moves east to be near Adelaide in the evening.
