Weather Situation

A high pressure system persists south of SA while a trough lies across the northeast. The high moves east into the Tasman Sea, allowing the trough across the northeast to move south on Tuesday and link up with a cold front moving across the Southern Ocean. A strong ridge of high pressure begins to build over southern parts of SA on Wednesday, pushing the trough back north again later in the week.
