Northwest to northeasterly 15 to 20 knots tending south to southwesterly in the middle of the day then tending south to southeasterly in the late evening. Winds reaching up to 30 knots inshore in the evening.

1 to 1.5 metres, increasing to 1 to 2 metres by early evening.

1st Swell

South to southwesterly below 1 metre, increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres south of Cowell to Wallaroo.

Weather Situation

A ridge of high pressure extends over SA from the east, as a low pressure trough moves into the west during the morning. The trough is expected to move eastwards during Thursday. A ridge of high pressure is then forecast to build over the Bight on Friday and a weak cold front will move across the southern coastal districts on Saturday. The high will slowly move eastwards on Sunday.
