West to northwesterly 10 to 15 knots, reaching up to 20 knots south of Cowell to Wallaroo during the morning. Winds tending west to southwesterly in the middle of the day then becoming variable about 10 knots in the late afternoon.

South to southwesterly 1 to 1.5 metres, increasing to 1.5 to 2.5 metres south of Port Neill to Port Victoria.

Weather Situation

A high pressure ridge will remain over northern parts of SA, as a cold front slips across the southeast early today. The ridge will move to the east early Friday as a trough moves over SA during the day, followed by another cold front early Saturday. Another high pressure system will move across the state, behind the front, and will extend a ridge across central and eastern parts of SA into Sunday. A low pressure system is then expected to develop about the WA border and may extend a trough into far west SA late on Sunday.
