A broad southwesterly flow over SA waters will tend west to northwesterly as a high pressure system over southern WA moves steadily eastwards across northern SA on Friday and Saturday, reaching NSW on Sunday and the Tasman Sea by Monday. Northerly winds freshen from the west on Tuesday ahead of a mid-week southwesterly change.
